College football's Big Three all have their issues

Notre Dame will play for the BCS title against either Alabama or Georgia. The Fighting Irish have had numerous close calls, the Crimson Tide lacks a dominant tailback and the Bulldogs have benefited from a generous schedule.

Not one of the Three Amigos left in this year's national title race should be confused with the greatest teams in history.
