Phelps wins the men�s 200-meter individual medley

Michael Phelps won the men’s 200-meter individual medley at the London Olympics today, becoming the first swimmer to win the same event in three consecutive Olympics. It was Phelps’ 20 th career Olympics medal and 15 th gold, extending his own record in both categories. Ryan Lochte of the U.S. won silver, Laszlo Cseh of Hungary the bronze.
